Getting Rid of Acne at Home

Terrible is the feeling that you get when you wake up every morning to the zits that prop out of nowhere on your face. More terrible are the adamant marks that refuse to budge even when the acne has receded. While some of the annoyed souls would visit a beauty parlour to get rid of the monsters, some would just resort to home techniques to bid them adieu.

Acnes are easy to get hold of, and equally easy to get rid of, too. All that you need to do to get for acne treatment is try out few home baked remedies. Voila, Voila!

Baking Soda

Baking soda or Sodium Bicarbonate is cushion like gentle to your skin. In the garb of an antiseptic and an anti inflammatory agent, it protects the skin from infection. It is a catalyst that spurs exfoliation and regulates the Ph balance of the skin. A concoction of a teaspoon of baking powder, cinnamon powder, honey and lemon, it comes in as tremendous relief.

Toothpaste

While applying toothpaste on acne and pimples might sound too gross to be tried, the fact is that applying toothpaste on the affected areas curbs the inflammation. Apply a small amount of it before going to bed and wake up to a refreshing self.

Lemon Juice

Mix a teaspoon of lemon juice with rose water and wash the affected area with the melange. Lemon’s acidic properties can be a panacea to the ever placating pimple problem.

Oatmeal

Again sounds like a frivolous piece of advice, doesn't it? Well, it turns out that all unexpected things show unexpectedly positive results. Take a teaspoon of honey and juice of half a lemon and scrap them together in a plate of cooked oatmeal. Spread it over your face for magical results.

In addition to these acne treatments, you can try turmeric powder compounded with neam leaves, too. Applying the mixture on the face for half an hour can perpetuate wonders.
